The entrance to Upupa (Hoopoe) is on the south side of the Pagliaro building, the ancient village's barn. It's got a little terrace overlooking the valley, in a secluded and very quiet area of the village. The spacious room has a large fireplace, and the wall paintings reproduce a flight of swallows and a hoopoe sitting in a tree. The paintings were made by a local artist from Villa Santa Lucia, a village nearby. It is centrally heated. Also the bathroom is large and contains a double whirlpool bathtub.
Warning: The access to the room is by a staircase around the back of the building.
